As spring begins to rear it’s wonderful head around this year it’s got me thinking about the choices I make in the kitchen. I’m starting to realise that working full time whilst juggling a social life and my blog / YouTube channel, I’ve become a little lazy when it comes to my food. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still cooking for myself and all that jazz, but I’ve just been thinking – there’s GOT to be an easier way to enjoy the foods I love without all that time and effort. I’ve taken to the internet and have started to lust for some amazingly convenient gadgets which could completely switch up my culinary game with just the click of a button (literally). I’ve decided to share my kitchen wishlist of 2018 with you all, just in case these gadgets appeal (get it…? peel…? HAHA) to you as much as they do me!
Panasonic Juicers UK MJ-L500
I’m pretty obsessed with this juicer, I’m not going to lie to you. I’ve watched more than a few videos of this bad boy in action like the one below and WOW…
This juicer would actually be so perfect for creating quick, nutritious fruit juices and desserts in the hot summer months. I can just picture me on the packed, sweaty 8 o’clock morning commute train sipping on a homemade juice and feeling so refreshed and smug.
The magical thing about this juicer is that it juices fruit slowly in order to retain nutrients and vitamins. I’m quite literally salivating at the thought of it. To make dessert, all you have to do is use frozen fruit combined with creamy ingredients (such as natural yoghurt), and hey presto – your very own, fresh and flavourful frozen yoghurt.
Nespresso Vertuo Coffee Machine
Not having a coffee machine at home means making myself a boring old instant coffee with milk every morning. It’s a hard life, I know. I guess it does the job, but if I had it my way I’d have a creamy flat white or a hazelnut latte every single day!!!
I recently spotted the Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine whilst browsing and dreaming of the perfect morning cup of coffee. It was love at first sight. I can definitely see me treating myself to this very, very soon. Especially with Ryan being a coffee addict like me, it’d just be the most perfect start to every morning.
The design of the machine is so sleek too, it would be such a gorgeous addition to any kitchen. My favourite feature by far is that you can buy different capsules to adjust the size of your coffee to the size of your mug… HOW GENIUS IS THAT? No hazy morning coffee spill disasters from this sleepy head.
Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer
This is so unnecessary and out of my price range, it’s actually ridiculous… but I want it!!! Doesn’t it just give you the most amazing Great British Bake Off vibes?! I’d be whipping up amazing baked creations like Mary Berry in no time.

The Kitchenaid would make baking so much quicker and more enjoyable for me. Without having to stand and whisk, stir and knead all my ingredients for (what feels like) forever, I could bake so much more and more often too!
I love baking so much and the prospect of just chucking my ingredients in whilst the Kitchenaid does all the hard graft for me is so tempting…
VeggieBullet Electric Spiralizer, Shredder and Slicer
I already know what you’re thinking, because I’m thinking the exact same thing… WOW. This amazing gadget literally does it all. I definitely saved the best until last with this one; the VeggieBullet has soared right to the top of my kitchen wishlist this year.
One of the most off-putting things about cooking or preparing vegetables (for me) is how much cutting, slicing and dicing there is to do. When you’re cooking a few different types of vegetables in one recipe, it can seem to take absolutely forever to make your way through it.

I can honestly, hand-on-heart say that I would eat 10 times the vegetables I currently eat if I had this wonderful appliance in my life. I always make sure to incorporate fruit or vegetables into every main meal as it is, but I would eat like half a plate happily with this!! Plus, it would be so much fun to cook with this right?!
I’m sure there are so many more impressive appliances which I could easily add to this kitchen wishlist, but I’ll stop browsing now before I get myself into trouble.
